In October of 2013, the
temperature was in the mid
60’s. Jeremiah climbed into
his stand at 2 p.m. At 4 p.m.
he heard two bucks fighting.
It was the sound of two large
bucks, he was sure that one of
these bucks was Nine Lives.
Fifteen minutes later, a 170”
eight pointer walked out into

the field and fed for a bit. Once
the buck left, Jeremiah saw a
big body coming through the
woods.
It was Jeremiah’s
renamed buck, Nine Lives,
making his way to the field. Nine
Lives made his way towards
Jeremiah, he grunted and
stopped him at 20 yards, drew
back his shot and released his
arrow.
