ou can choose to pair each
screen-size with varying
transducer op ons, with each
transducer offering different sonar
func ons. The three available Hook²
transducer models also offer you
varying installa on op ons – they
can easily be mounted to your
transom or trolling motor, and they
have a flat surface to provide for
simple in-hull installa on.
1. TripleShot
Now that we have specified the
different sonar technologies
available to the Hook² series, we also
need to clarify that not all units offer
full naviga onal capabili es (i.e. full
GPS func onality with the op on to
upgrade your mapping detail by
adding an external chart).
Combo units (that provide for both
sonar and full naviga onal
func ons) are available in the 12-
inch, 9-inch, 7-inch and 5-inch
models.
Please note that the head units have
built-in so ware that matches them with
the specified transducer-op on, so your
chosen transducer cannot be swapped
out for a different transducer model at
any me at a later stage!
Below is the list of different transducers
available to Hook²:
2 . SplitShot
Some units have a built-in GPS-
plo er, but this only allows for basic
GPS func ons (i.e. saving waypoints,
following trails and naviga ng to
favourite fishing spots) and the
mapping detail cannot be upgraded
by adding a chart. These units do not
have an SD card facility. These GPS-
enabled units are available in the 7-
inch, 5-inch and 4-inch screen sizes.
3 . Bullet
This new 4-inch unit has a
wide-screen and therefore
provides for addi onal
sonar viewing (as opposed
to the previous ver cal
screens).
And last, but not least, we have the
4-inch Bullet unit. This is a sonar-only
unit – and it is only available in the
4-inch screen size.
