couple months ago, Lowrance introduced a new
genera on of the popular HDS units – the HDS
CARBON. Up un l now, the previous genera on of
HDS (the Gen 3 range) were s ll in produc on, however, the
Gen 3 units are now being discon nued.
Lowrance South Africa s ll has a few of the lower-priced
HDS Gen 3 units in stock – but when our Gen 3 stock is sold
out, the only HDS units available on the market will be the
awesome CARBON range.
The CARBON units provide for improved HDS capabili es.
That means that only the best of the best will be available.

So… just to explain how the Lowrance
product line looks for 2018:
These are standalone bu on-operated units that allow for
straigh orward sonar and GPS func ons. They are the “turn-on
and fish” units for all the weekend warriors out there.
The be er range includes the Elite Ti units. These units provide
for convenient touch-screen opera on, and they have
improved sonar and GPS func onality. The also provide for
limited add-on capability – you can connect them to your VHF
radio, your engines (to display engine-data), to Xi5 trolling
motors, and also to the Sonic Hub marine audio system.
The best range is the HDS CARBON. They provide for superior
sonar and GPS func onality, and they have built-in so ware
that allows for numerous add-on capabili es.
