the giant marquee at the new venue
at Sodwana Bay Lodge. The new
Carbon 16 a racted much a en on
– especially the speed of the unit and
screen brightness.

The team was on the beach before
sunrise on the first day, to cheer on the
50 boats launching through the rough
surf.
Our technical manager John Minnie and
Renier Smit (customer care) were
available to all anglers throughout the
week – giving advice and assistance
where needed. John was also in
Sodwana for the whole week before the
Billfish started helping contestants in
the OET compe on.
