All was set for the second and final day fishing with everything to fight
for in the remaining two podium positions. At the weigh-in the tensions
were very high. This tension was amplified by the huge crowd that
cheered each boat coming to the weigh station. For South Africa, again
Justy and Mike weighed the 5th largest bag of the day of 7.89 kgs and
a big fish of 4.2 kgs. At the end on the day all the hard work was done
and off to the gala prize giving we went.
The tension was high and well worth the wait as Justy and Mike received
the award for the biggest fish of the tournament. Again, Justy and Mike
were in the medals with a well-deserved third place for the individual
boat pairing. And finally, the team ranking was announced, and team
South Africa came fourth overall. It was a great tournament and a great
result.
