during the recent SABAA Divisionals held at
Theewaterskloof Dam.
He was using his Hook 2 unit and Rory says he
appreciates the “plug-and-play” capability it
offers. “The detail on these so-called “entry-
level units” is pretty impressive,” he said.
Being a dedicated Bass angler, Rory also spent
time at Clan William Dam, practising for the
upcoming Divisionals.

He caught this 1.8kg Small Mouth Bass around
mid-morning in hot, windy and very rough
conditions. He was using his two Elite 9 Ti units
and the Hook 2 9 which had just been fitted
onto his new Ruffnek Raker 16.
And when it gets to 43 degrees and counting
– Rory makes good use of his Lowrance neck
