Fwho like to spend many hours on their boat using Lowrance equipment to catch fish – we offer you the ul mate marine audio system : Sonic Hub 2 .
The whole system includes a Sonic Hub module and two 6.5 ” 200 wa speakers – as pictured below :
This system enables you to listen to your favourite music while out on the water - keeping you even more entertained .
Sonic Hub features integrated Bluetooth – this enables you to connect your smartphone or tablet and stream music directly to the audio system .
The system also includes an AM / FM radio tuner – all you need is an addi onal antenna and you can listen to live radio on your boat . Alterna vely , another easy and effec ve op on is to store all your favourite tunes on a USB device and insert that into the Sonic Hub module – you can leave the USB device plugged in to your Sonic hub system at all mes , so you constantly have access to your favourite playlist .
The system can take up to two USB devices .
Sonic Hub works via the NMEA 2000 network – this network is the plug-and-play c o m m u n i c a o n s s t a n d a r d u s e d fo r connec ng marine sensors and display units within ships and boats . Sonic Hub therefore requires the NMEA Starter Kit ( which is basically the backbone ). Your Sonic Hub module will connect to the NMEA backbone , and this backbone communicates the data / info to your Lowrance screen .
Sonic Hub will therefore only work with Lowrance units that are NMEA 2000 compa ble . Namely : HDS units and the Elite Ti range ( excluding the 5-inch Elite Ti unit , as it only includes NMEA 0183 ).
Previously only HDS-users had access to this awesome marine audio system – but with the recent so ware update , now Elite Ti-users can also rock their boat !

All the audio controls ( volume up / down , skip track , source etc .) are accessed directly from your HDS or Elite Ti screen . It is super simple , with quick and easy access . All the func ons are at your finger ps , and you don ' t need to take your eyes off your sonar / GPS screen .
The Sonic Hub 2 system retails for only R6980 . If you don ' t already have an NMEA starter kit installed on your boat , you will need to purchase one for an additional R1662 .
