Marc recently spent time on the water with
Cedric Croft Jones, testing his Lowrance units
at Roodekoppies Dam, just outside Brits
heading towards Thabazimbi.
He needed assistance in setting up his units
correctly for bass fishing. After tweeking the
settings on the HDS Gen 2 touch, 12 inch (on
the dash) and an HDS 9 up front – Marc man-
aged to get some really good showings on the
sonar, DownScan and especially the SideScan
as seen (on right).
He says, “Cedric was probably the most
knowledgeable Bass angler I have ever spent
time with and I enjoyed gleaning tips from
him. Unfortunately, we got blown off the
water thanks to a cold front coming into
Johannesburg!”
