LOWRANCE SOUTH AFRICA Issue 32 | Page 25

Among the steady stream of visitors to our stand were several of our Lowrance Brand Ambassadors – including Marc Bywater with his very cute son Mason, and SABAA President Craig Fraser. Of course, the Ghost Trolling Motor was a huge attraction! Since its South African debut last month and appearance at the recent SA Bass Nationals at Albert Falls Dam, the Ghost’s reputation for silence and efficiency has spread rapidly in bass fishing circles. Bass anglers around the country are super keen to own one of these motors and Lowrance SA is excited about the demand. A huge plus is the fact that John has officially been appointed the Ghost “go to” person – as the newly accredited technician for South Africa. Our Lowrance clothing range again proved popular and the kiddies clothing attracted a lot of attention. These make great gifts especially for kids who love to dress like dad! Steph said the show provided Lowrance SA with a great opportunity to meet many of our Cape dealers in one place – and our team enjoyed the networking and socialising during their downtimes. She added that the all-important Rugby World Cup was not forgotten as several exhibitors showed the games on their TV screens which made for a very festive atmosphere. This was our Gauteng representative Keith’s first Cape Town Boat Show experience and he really enjoyed his time in the Mother City. He was impressed with the cleanliness of the city and of course the show buzz at the V&A Waterfront. “There were some beautiful yachts on display, powerboat demos and loads of on-water action for show goers to enjoy – and I had a ball!”
