Greg DeFillipi found his place on the board that day, with the second heaviest gamefish (his 21.3kg GT) which also ended up second overall. Top junior, Megan Barclay retained her overnight lead. Though the weather was good on Day 3 very few fish weighed in. The main battle was between juniors and the Barclay’s kept it in the family. Owen’s 22.5kg Yellowfin Tuna took Top Junior (and 4th place overall) and the Top Lady went to his sister Megan! – none of which could beat the overnight winners. Saturday, the final day offered perfect conditions, but the fishing was tough with very few catches Congratulations to Tournament Director Dick Pratt and his committee for this well-run competition! SLIDE Worth mentioning is that our Lowrance Brand Ambassador Carl Gutzeit and his crew, fishing off Carl’s boat “Sea Fishient” – took 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th place among their catches.
