CHAMPIONSHIP - SODWANA
(February 11th– Friday 15th 2019).
What excitement! For many of the deepsea
competitors this was their first visit to South
Africa, and their first experience of our
challenging coastline and changing conditions
at Sodwana!
Whatever their experience, each and every
angler proudly brought their best game to
the occasion.
There were 75 competing anglers from 15
countries- they were divided into three-person
teams and some countries had two teams.
They went out on 25 local boats- which were hand-picked by SADSAA because they
are some of the best skiboats in the country and they are operated by some of the
most experienced skippers. Each boat had one skipper and one deck-hand.
