The anglers targeted Brown Trout and
Rainbow Trout - most of the catches
being Rainbow Trout. A total of 110 fish
were caught and released.
The competition is based on
measurement – and the anglers are
awarded 100 points per fish and 20
points per centimetre. The longest
fish caught was 72 cm. Fish have to be
returned alive, which is why they only
use barbless hooks.

Everyone enjoyed the rest day (Wednesday) braai and especially the performance
by local Gum Boot dancers. Later a group, including the International FIPS-Mouch
representative Mr Stefan Allaker and his wife, visited the local township, Sakalwa,
and they donated cooking utensils and money - to two different groups - to assist
them with their work for the needy in the area.
The anglers also took a quick trip into Kruger Park on the Friday.
