World Championship 2019.
(February 10th – 14th – incl two practise days)
We are the champions indeed! Despite
huge challenges with the weather
and treacherous conditions at the
Vaal River, South Africa triumphed in
this prestigious competition – gaining
worldwide praise for the outstanding
organisation of these Championships
and for the Protea Team’s magnificent
win.
SABAA President, Protea Angler and
Lowrance SA Brand Ambassador, Craig
Fraser, said the team pulled together
and worked collectively to win a Gold
Medal in the Team event. Craig and Justy Varkevisser also took Gold
Medals home for the best boat overall (Finishing 3rd on Day 1, 1st on
Day 2 and 1st on Day 3), and they caught the biggest fish at the event.
Craig and Justy had numerous electronics on-board… among them was
Lowrance, of course!
