page throughout the week,
keeping viewers at home up-to-
date.
Official
functions,
result
updates and all the evening
meals took place in the giant
marquee in the grounds of
Sodwana Bay Lodge.
Mikala and John set up the mobile Lowrance stand in the marquee, with
numerous Lowrance units on display.
By Sunday, busloads of enthusiastic anglers from 15 countries had arrived
and they were all looking forward to meeting fellow competitors and
friends, later that evening.
Meanwhile at midday, all skippers gathered for the Captain’s meeting where
they were briefed on the rules and requirements for a World Games event
like this.
The teams were introduced at the welcome dinner that evening – and after
some festive socialising, it was early to bed - and all systems GO!
