Lowrance South Africa concentrates solely on the Lowrance brand- we focus on
products that will land you that BIG fish! We will also soon introduce C-Map charts,
so keep a look-out in future issues where we will do a feature article on what C-Map
has to offer.
Navico has many distributors throughout the world. This conference groups together the
EMEA distributors: European, Middle East and African distributors. The purpose of the
conference is to keep all distributors informed on the latest technology and offerings from
Navico.
This year the EMEA conference was attended by a total of 75 people from 46 different
companies, 39% of which were independent distributors (like Lowrance SA), 36% were
Simrad PRO and commercial dealers, and 25% were direct Navico dealers. There were
attendees from 26 different countries, proving that Navico really is a world renowned
marine company.
John and Mikala attended various workshops- concentrating on Lowrance products, new
mapping features and products, and some exciting digital marine features. They also met
up with the Lowrance Product Line Manager; Lucas Steward for some on-water product
testing. And they also met with Sennur Yagmur; our Navico account manager.
It was a great week of learning and networking.
Needless to say, John and Mikala are very enthusiastic
about the upcoming year!
It is going to be a truly fantastic year for Lowrance!
