HDS Live includes Live Smartphone Connection!
Only available on the 12-inch and 16-inch screens.
The 16- and 12-inch HDS Live models include an HDMI and USB port. This means
that you can connect your Android or Apple device. Your Lowrance unit will display
whatever is on your phone screen… so you can display updating weather forecasts,
satellite imagery from your favourite mapping application (for example; Google
Earth), and if you have an internet connection on your phone, you can even play
YouTube videos, keep up with latest sporting events, or play saved videos to keep
the kids entertained while you get to spend a full day out on the water. Whatever
you see on your phone, you can see on your HDS Live. Cool, right?!?
Another reason to rather splurge on the BIG screens, is that the 16- and 12-
inch HDS Live units allow for a 6-panel screen split!
