Joeys Tournament Trail – August 4th.
High winds early in August saw a change in venue (for safety reasons) from
Albert Falls to Inanda Dam, for the seventh leg of this popular event. All went
well and a total of 117 fish were caught and released.
Congratulations to Lloyd Muirhead and Brendon van Zuydam, for their win with
12.158 points. Hot on their heels in second place were, Lowrance anglers, Sean
Tildesley and Calvin Smith, with 11.925 points.
Rod Freese won the
R1000 cash prize from
Lowrance SA for the
biggest fish (2.975 kg)
caught by an angler
using Lowrance units.
There is no event
scheduled for
September – as many
anglers have competed
in the Albert Falls Bass
Classic.
The eight leg will take
place at Woodstock
Dam on October 6th
2018.
