Our Gauteng Dealer Liaison, Keith
Falconer, was on hand at the
Lowrance SA stand, which had a
good range of Carbon, Elite and
Hook units on display. He caught
up with several of our existing
clients - giving tips, updates
and reprogramming units where
necessary. Newcomers to Lowrance
were also given a complete rundown
on how the units can be used to
their full potential – maximising fish
catching opportunities.
Waterworld’s General Manager,
Ken Brown, said they also had an
excellent turnout at their North
Riding premises. “Despite the rugby
on Saturday we had more than 1000
visitors passing through – though
Sunday was a bit quieter. This show
was well-worth doing, we were so busy
that it has changed our perception
of Boat Shows – we’ll definitely have
more going forward.
Keith said, “More people were
exposed to Lowrance products
and given the chance to test our
simulated units and ask questions.
They’ll be so much better equipped
when out on the water – doing what
they love best!” “Our show-goers focussed largely
on our mid-range recreational craft
(above entry level) and there was more
interest in our locally-manufactured
boats than the imported options.
Pre-owned outfits also proved very
popular. Whatever their preference,
all our buyers took advantage of the
great specials we had available.
While the weather was freezing,
it was a good opportunity for
boaters to escape the cold, while
simultaneously benefitting from
an eye-opening preview of what’s
available ahead of summer. “Our visitors had a feast of options
across our broad spectrum of
products including jetskis, ATV’s,
Spyders and more and our boating
accessories and watertoys also did
very well!” Ken said.
Leisure Marine in Midrand also hosted a Show - which they are extending until
September 15th 2018. They had some Crazy Specials on new and used Boats,
Jetskis, Watertoys and Accessories.
