After a tough two days, Roy
Friday from Hillcrest triumphed,
with his Bass of 5.299kg
(pictured left) - to “catch” the
big prize – a massive victory
considering he doesn’t own a
boat at all.
In second place was Ross
Summerell (pictured right with Steph)
with his fish of 5.133kg –
and he also won our prize, a
Lowrance Elite 7 Ti unit!
A total of 787 fish were caught and released, seven of them over 4kg and
the top two over 5kg. Interestingly, Tim says the fish were kept in a tank
on a boat, before being driven to the middle of the dam to be released –
protecting them from being disorientated and over-fished by bank anglers in
the next few days.
