This meant a complete change
for this trained aircraft mechanic
(and farmer) who immediately
moved his family down to the
KZN coastal town.
Not that they were complaining –
Colin’s wife Vicky does the books,
daughter Cindy is the friendly
receptionist (while she studies for a
teaching qualification) and together
with his other daughter Nadine
- the family love fishing. Loyal
staffers, Norman and Veronica,
have worked in the business from
the very beginning!
The
business
specialises
in
services, installations and repairs
on all makes of boats and jetskis…
and offers a good range of quality
products including safety gear,
watertoys, accessories, spares,
Mercury motors and Lowrance
electronics. Anything they don’t
stock can be ordered on request.
Colin started pushing Lowrance
products as soon as he took over
the business. He says he sells a
lot of Hook and Elite Ti models to
skiboaters and Kayak anglers and
he is impressed with the excellent
service he receives from the
Lowrance team.
“John Minnie is always available
to help out when either my clients
or I get stuck and he’s just a phone
call away. Lowrance units are so
easy to install and setup and they
work at a press of the buttons! It’s
so easy to familiarise oneself with
the systems and you just don’t
have to think too hard – they’re
simple to navigate!” he says.
