JOEY’S TOURNAMENT TRAIL
Congrats to Adrian Beaumont who
recently caught the heaviest fish
of the May leg of the Joeys Towing
Tournament Trail at Albert Falls
dam – which weighed 5.507kgs!
He was fishing with Kevin Naidoo
(Team Husqvarna Lews), when he
caught the fish at 8.30am - at the
mouth of the river, using a ZMan
Green Pumpkin Chatterbait.
Adrian won our R1000 cash prize–
for the heaviest fish caught by an
angler using Lowrance equipment.
In addition to this big catch - their
team bag was an incredible record
of 17.806 kilograms!
They were fishing off Kevin’s
Exterminator boat with was fitted
with an HDS 9 and an Elite Ti
9 unit. (Since then, Kevin has
added a Carbon 9 unit and they
thrilled with the new Fish Reveal
software).
