he first thing Roscoe Rautenbach packs for
any fishing ou ng, is his Lowrance Hook 4
unit and Nocqua ba ery. Nothing else
ma ers…says this avid Kayak angler and
Lowrance Brand Ambassador, who loves the sea
passionately. “I can't understand how any angler
can contemplate fishing without their
electronics – they're your underwater eyes!”
And he would know…he's owned at least seven
different Lowrance units over the last 20 years.
Some of Roscoe's earliest memories include
fishing off the beach at Umdlo with his father
when he was about four years old. This was the
start of a life-long love of the ocean, but surfing
took precedence over fishing un l his early 20's.
He also enjoyed other watersports; including
wakeboarding, waterskiing - as well as bass and
fly fishing among others.
