Not long after , a huge turtle paddling by momentarily caught their attention but when John screamed … “ Dorado ”…. it was all hands to the lines and the fight was on !
Having these beautiful gamefish on the bite had the team fishing for their lives and each of them emerged with a good catch . Novice Steph was delighted to her first Dorado ( which she claims was the biggest ) which she earmarked for a good searing on the braai .
After fishing all day and some celebratory drinks – the weary group went home to show off their catches .
