self-care into your daily life is another key to happiness. Words are
powerful, so speak positively. Do not wait for other people to tell you that
they think you are beautiful, smart, talented and amazing. Tell yourself,
because it doesn’t matter how awesome other people think you are if you
do not think you’re awesome. It is imperative in today’s society that we
learn to validate ourselves. Ponder this: If I don’t think that I’m the bomb
who will? People learn how to treat us by the way they see us treating
ourselves.
Your ego will rear its ugly head in the most inappropriate of situations.
When faced with scenarios that can compromise your self-esteem, it is
important to understand that the ego is the reason we take things so
personally and allow them to affect us so deeply. If someone says or does
something that has a negative impact on you, there are ways to avoid
getting hurt by it. Although easier said than done, with a conscious effort,
the blow to the ego can be ignored or avoided. We must understand
that the people in our lives are mirror images of ourselves. The way we

take anything personally and try to operate out of a place of love instead
of ego, then negative actions brought on by others will have a minimal
impact on you. There is power in deflating the ego and putting love in its
place.

master key to happiness. All of the above: self-confidence, self-esteem,
and ego are all tied into SELF. Self is who we are at the core. When you go
within and discover the true essence of yourself, that’s where you will find
your super power. You can assess every aspect of your life from this space.
If you can get to the root cause of what makes you tick, what makes you
happy, what makes you love and what makes you, YOU, then can achieve
a good knowledge of self. You must start pouring love within to build
yourself up. Love of self is essential to living a full and happy life. The best
way to begin loving yourself is to stop judging yourself. You must accept
the good, the bad, the ugly and the nasty. They are all a part of you. In my
lifetime, I learned to love myself unconditionally, once I started practicing
unconditional love towards myself I was able to give unconditional love
to others more easily. Operating out of a place of love became natural
