How do you prep / prepare your dry or chapped lips when putting on matte lipstick or gloss -- in order to make sure it doesn ' t look cracked and dry / flake off ?
Are there ways to line your lips to accentuate them without looking overdone ( i . e . What areas to overline / not overline , tricks with lipstick to further the effect , etc .)?

Awesome questions ! Let ' s start with the first one . Having dry , chapped , flaky lips can be such a pain , and dry lips can be hard to mask when you want to wear your favorite matte lipstick . I have tried a lot of lip balms in the past , and even though they are very moisturizing , none of them seem to create miracles in seconds . I also have tried many lip exfoliants and I have found that they can be overpriced , even though some of the main ingredients can be found in your very own home .
