Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Cherry
This was the first ever Sleek product I tried, I picked it up on a whim years ago while looking for a dark vampy red and I have loved it ever since. It has a satin finish on the lips with a seriously deep colour and is not drying on the lips.

MAC Ruby Woo
A classic old school hollywood red. It is a matte so some people can find it drying, but if you can find a way of working with this it is the most beautiul red.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain Lip in 10 Red
The wildcard of the bunch is this glossy stain, not techniqually a lipstick but hugely popular and this colour is beautiful! These glide on and set slightly darker, but have great lasting power!
MAC Russain Red
This blue toned red is perfect for any ladies out there with a cool skintone. Those of you with pale skin may find it slightly too dark however it does have that classic pin-up colour.
Revlon Matte Lipstick in Really Red
In my opinion a classic, there was a while when I was worried it had been discountined but I recently spotted it again and was delighted! As it says on the tin this product is really red.

The Revlon matte balms recieved a lot of hype this year and my favourite of the bunch just happens to be standout, which is another deep almost berry like red. This is a matte with all the comfort of a balm, I love it!
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Hot Pepper
A new discovery for me and my new favuorites, they glide on, stay on for hours, they also stain slightly making them last longer. Hot pepper is an orange toned red that is really wearable.
Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in La Malicieuse
There‘s something about a Chanel lipstick that just screams luxury. This soft matte lipstick is smooth and doesn't dry your lips out like other mattes can, all in all its a wearable shade however it does come with a hefty price tag.
Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 001
A daring deep wine red, that is affordable with a high-end formulation. A favourite with many bloggers.
