dressing. I decided I could look at the situation and be intimidated
or embrace it for all it’s worth. I’d like to think we did the latter, and
it turned into a really good time.” The couple also has a son named
Will, who works for an engineering firm.
Dr. Woerner is set to retire soon. But, before the words had even
left her lips, Dr. Woerner was already thinking about the best way
she could continue to care for others. “I’d love to volunteer to care
for patients at the Family Community Clinic at St. Joseph. It’s a
bunch of old school doctors, taking care of people who need help.
That’s right up my alley,” she smiled.
After a lifetime of service in Louisville, Dr. Woerner isn’t ready
to hang up her white coat just yet.
