ANNUAL REPORT
Thank you GLMS President Dr. Rob Zaring
Robert Zaring, MD, MMM, became the 118th GLMS Pres-
ident at the May 21st, 2017 Presidents’ Celebration. Held
at the new GLMS office at 328 East Main St., the cele-
bration allowed physician members and their families
to tour the new location and take in a day of baseball
thanks to the office’s proximity to Slugger Field. Dr.
Zaring took to the role of president with ease, leading
GLMS to develop new endeavors such as DocTalks, Med-
Central and Tech Services.

Essay Winners
Dr. Morris Weiss won the practicing physician
category (and $1,500) for his essay “Ethical and
Moral Consideration in 21st Century Medicine.”
Natalie Spiller won the in-training physician
category (and $750) for her essay, “What Drives
Me Crazy – A Story.” The two accepted their
awards at the Presidents’ Celebration.
