Norton Heart & Vascular Institute is pleased to welcome Kelly C. McCants, M.D., and
Robert D. Sawyer, M.D.
Dr. McCants completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship with the
University of Louisville School of Medicine and his heart failure/transplant fellowship with
New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. McCants is board-certified
in cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
Dr. Sawyer completed his internal medicine residency, general cardiology fellowship and
interventional cardiology fellowship with the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
He recently served as an interventional cardiologist with Lexington Clinic. Dr. Sawyer is
board-certified in interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular disease and
internal medicine.
