How long have you been doing art?
- Probably around 8 years,
3 months, and 45 days,
17 minutes, and 20 seconds....25 seconds!
Describe
get when
your art
the best
the feeling you
others recognize
work as some of
in the world?
- I’ll definitely let you
know how that feels when
it happens
Where can our readers
catch up with you and view
more of you amazing art?
- I post new work on IG
almost everyday, and after
I compile a group of work
on the same subject, I
post it up on Tumblr. Most
of my followers are just
my mom making fake accounts and following me.
Thanks Ma.
How would you best describe your art work?
THE
SUNMIN
- My work is best described as a bit of
spooky, a pinch of fantasy, a swig of vodka,
half a pill of LSD, and 25
minutes of Rupaul’s drag
race.
INN
EMPIRE
What is your favorite part
about your job?
- DOLLA DOLLA BILLS,
learning new things, and
the awesome people
What are some of the compliments you get on your work?
- People tell me that I have a very unique style although 110% of the time I
don’t know what the hell they’re talking about since I feel like i’m still
at an exploring stage on getting to my style. The compliment I most like to
wear as a medal is that I’m a hard worker.
What are a few highlights
of your career as an artist?
- My favorite was when
someone told me that they
check my site everyday
to see if I had posted
new work. One moment that
was memorable was when my
parents told me they were
proud of me, and another
was when John Kricfalusi
messaged me to say that he
loved my work and I immediately shat myself afterwards.

How do you come up with
these Characters?
- Experiencing, watching,
reading, exploring, and
meeting new people, and

Bacardi Oakheart

from?
- I’m came from South
Korea to go to art college, but I don’t have an
accent. Thank you South
Park.
Do you have other interest
besides art?
- I’m a big fan of food. If
I find a man that I like
as much as food, I’d marry
him.... and eat him too.
What was your favorite
cartoon as a child?
- Hands down, Ren and Stimpy.
How do you come up with some of these characters?
- I’m usually influenced by content that already exists, so I mostly do my own
interpretations of pre-existing characters. The ones I make up on my own are off
of interesting events that happened in my daily life.
