SHEI PHAN LOS ANGELES FIRM INC MAGAZINE MARCH / APRIL 2016 | Model Shei Phan | | Photographer Ashley Nguyen | | Makeup Artist Rebekah Aladdin | | Hair Stylist Carol Morrow | | Writer Darcell Carraway | | Interview with Darcell Carraway | LEARN YOUR ANGLES IN THE MIRROR. SHOOT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND NOT JUST WITH A CAMERA PHONE. (SELFIES DON’T COUNT)! -SHEI PHAN International super model , Anomaly Model, Worldwide icon and artist from ANTM cycle 21, Shei Phan bursts onto the scene leaving sparks in her wake. While she was a Top 5 contestant on the show, as we’ve seen in the past, the winners don’t always turn out to become most popular or successful. When you look at past contestants such as Jade Cole, Yaya DaCosta or even Toccara Jones, you may note they all fared well because they were not only amazing models, but likable public figures. And to be totally honest, Phan was our top pick. If that counts for anything! This artist can draw like no other, she has her own high fashion look and is totally still rising as a model, superseding her peers. Modeling comes so naturally to Shei with her dynamic personality. She definitely has to occupy herself with a hobby or two just to stay busy. She loves being in front of the camera, practicing in the mirror, and learning the business. Aside from modeling and strutting her stuff on the catwalk, Shei often indulges in painting and drawing. You will want to follow her art profile on Instagram @SHEIP_ART as you’ll find some unique pieces on her page. There’s just something about a model who can draw that is extraordinarily attractive. Her art is so good it will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. And a little personal inside tip from writer to reader, she is unusually humble. You should reach out to her for features or for art projects, it’s totally doable, trust me. I think far too often, we see people on TV and think they are not reachable or they wouldn’t be willing to work with an ordinary person. However, the truth is most of them are unreachable, but not our friend, Panda. I forgot to mention that’s her nickname. Shouts out to #PandaNation! She and I together, we run this town. Thank you to photographer Ashley Nguyen, makeup artist, Rebekah Aladdin, and hair stylist, Carol Morrow. We love you guys ((US)).
