have just reached Euphoria! In
that moment, everything around my canvas and
my makeup goes black. Nothing exists to me. Not
my phone, not my bills, not my mind, not my family, not even my own consciousness is relevant at
that moment. It is me, and my canvas, and nothing
else. To some, when they look at my makeup for
the day, they find it beautiful, but l ittle do they know
that it’s more than just beautiful. It is my heart and
soul. It is filled with happiness, joy, sadness, stress,
anger, and patience, all put together to create a
masterpiece. To some, makeup has the power to
change their appearance. For me, makeup gives
me the power to be who I am. To speak without
being spoken to, to express myself without an explanation being had, but ultimately, to show who I
really am, without you even realizing it.
