The

Poet Laureate (a term
dating back to early 12th
century) is appointed to
raise national consciousness in order to garner
greater appreciation for
reading and writing poetry.
Additionally, a poet laureate can be expected to compose for special events and
occasions, most notably the
Presidential Inaugurations.
If ever there was such a writer existing
within the world of fashion and beauty both
on and off the record, a being with nearly
super natural abilities when it comes to
writing, and one that would clearly stand
out from the rest, able to touch basis on any
topic from extreme makeup tips to composing product reviews, we have not found
him/her. Within the international fashion
communities this subject has literally been
non existent. There has never been a Poet
Laureate and with that being said nor has
there ever been a writer consistent enough
to earn such high honors in writing. Quick
reminder: a Poet Laureate is a tradition
carried on for hundreds of years. Yet here
in 2015, we finally begin the tradition of

Poet Laureate of Fashion. This high honor is
bestowed upon someone who has expertise
in writing, specifically poetry focused on
fashion/makeup. He/she will be selected and
recognized by the impact of this writer’s body
of work over a time frame of no less than two
years. In order to be crowned, the writer must
have published a body of work viewable or
open to public view. The recipient must write
for a publication that is respectively filled
with fashion and or beauty. This writer must
also publish three or more articles per issue
which will show the strength and stability of
his/her writing. Since we are the first publication to began this tradition within the fashion
communities worldwide, I figured we’d make
fair rules and be fair at judgement and adjustable amendments as seen fit for future potential appointees. This series Wandering from
the great French photographer Emmanuelle
Choussy is the perfect example of of what
kind of body of work we are looking for. The
grammar should be correct without flaws.
Spelling in this writer’s case should be by all
means error free and the body of work being
judged should be of great taste and exquisitely detailed. If the writing is not impeccable
and the skill level is clearly beginner without
any support or knowledge, the Fashion Poet’s
Society won’t even present your case to the
preliminary judges. Writers may be new,
however, their work should not reflect that in
any way shape or form. This writer needs to
have a wide range of knowledge regarding
