hose who remember makeup from the late
1980’s, as I do, lookback
on a transition that had
a very rough path. In today’s makeup you’ll find
some who emulate an
Avant Garde style which
is more art and culture
compared to basic makeup. Then there are others
who will never advance
within the entertainment
and fashion industries
due to lack of imagination. Makeup was very

glamour of today. Seemingly enough Avant Garde was based on experimental and unusual ideas
which pushed boundaries of what is accepted as status quo. While some may consider this the
hallmark of modernism, the movement has exsisted since 1825 which history marks as the first
recorded use of Avant Garde in its customary sense. With that being said, I gathered a post modern version of makeup radicals to reform, steer and shape the direction of art for years to come.
The talented artist I set before you in this issue are raw situationist with insisting artistry and very
influential styles. Each makeup artist has its style in today’s circus of talented face beaters. Yet,
You’ll find one is no different from the next. The only thing that sets this elite group apart from you,
is the quality of the photographer’s and great teams they associate with and produce quality work.
And so, I bring you a new era of new comers, new products and the passion behind these artists.
For the first time we go all out with into a complete #MakeupExtravaganza. I am honored to bring
such deserving talents to the forefront of mainstream fashion. For one I personally believe makeup
artist never get enough credit or hardly ever get the role of being in the spotlight and as we engage
in fashion weeks worldwide or simply embrace the beautiful models that hit those runways and
catwalks ask yourself what would they be without the makeup artist that prepare them for the show.
