Pro Tips LOS ANGELES FIRM INC MAGAZINE by: Natasha Austin @commontashhmakeup Tip 1: Know your skin type Knowing your skin type will help you determine what skincare, moisturizer and fountion is best for you. For example, if someone with oily skin uses the same products as someone with dry skin it could turn out too shiny, almost greasy. Tip 2: Less is more For an everyday makeup look (sometimes even in certain fashion looks) too much is really too much. No matter how much the product is blended, too much product never serves you well. For dramatic eye looks, always build up to the drama. Don’t start dramatic and try to tone it down after it’s too late. Photographer Jose Flores Model Natasha Austin Hair and Makeup Natasha Austin Tip 3: Blend! Blend! Blend! I cannot tell you enough. Blended eye shadow, foundation, blush, bronzer always looks good on any face. After I apply a product I will go back in with either a sponge or a clean fluffy brush and get rid of any harsh lines. Blending is key to looking flawless. JANUARY / FEBRUARY 2016
