I've always found this so cute and amazing. They're issuing the fact that many of their fans don't have a lot of friends, and they acknowledge the fact that the internet is a safe haven for many of these fans, because they find happiness the Dan and Phil.

The internet is obviously a place where people let loose. You might be a furry, write weird fanfiction about a certain pair of best friends, be a total anime otaku, or make origami on a Youtube channel, but it's all accepted on the internet. You can make friends by being yourself on the internet, like I have done with the guys at the fandom magazine, and a load of you guys, the Phandom! Thanks, guys!

If you don't know, They met because Dan was a fan of Phil's Youtube videos when they were starting out! They started talking over Skype calls, and eventually met in person!
