To DC: Many of your books are in a comic book format, that is similar to mangas. Why should readers opt to read comics/graphic novels rather than mangas?

Hannah to The Hunger Games: In many of the books that are considered popular around this time, stories are set in a dystopian world with a teenage heroine. What makes this book different from the trend?

Answer: This is a world where we used to be enslaved by Snow and the rest of the Capitol. We also had to send in our loved ones as tributes to kill other people or to be killed in the Hunger Games to win fame and money. And I think that shows that we are very different from other stories because we were very morbid and dark. Like, sending teens to go murder people sounds very different from any other book series.
