Hannah Nguyen here. Long time, no see! The Liars’ five year “spring break” is officially over. After living peacefully without any threats since Charlotte was caught, the Liars come back to Rosewood only to be stalked by another A. More specifically, this new A-moji, likes to call themselves “A.D.”, and it’s probably not a coincidence that those two letters are Alison’s initials.

In the season six finale of Pretty Little Liars, a lot of things are revealed to both the Liars and the viewers watching from their TV or computer screen. In this episode, Hanna’s great plan goes into action with the help of Caleb; Ezra and Aria celebrate the publish of their book; Spencer and Toby go on a mission to uncover hidden things in the Radley; and Emily helps Alison copes with her “hallucinations.” (Am I seeing a pattern here with the ships?)

After Alison’s “accident” falling down the stairs, she gets “visions” of her mother and Detective Wilden, who are both dead. Ali runs away to the church, trying to escape from the delusions, knowing “they

wouldn’t follow [her] there.” Ali, disoriented, comes to a conclusion: she needs help. Ali makes the decision to check herself into a treatment facility.

Over where Ezra and Aria have just finished publishing the book, Ezra thanks Aria for pushing him to complete the book, even during his emotional times. Later, when Aria stops to see Emily, she confesses to being worried about her relationship with Liam. She thinks he will notice the honesty in her chapters. On the bright side, Jillian genuinely loved the book, and Ezra and Aria celebrate in a very intimate way, sailing the Ezria ship once again. (Does Liam even exist to Aria at this point?)

Meanwhile, Spencer and Toby look at The Radley’s floor plans, uncovering a secret room that might hold Sara Harvey’s confidential items. Toby offers to skip Yvonne’s mom’s campaign party to help Spencer, and though she rejects him at first in fear of ruining his relationship with Yvonne, she accepts his offer. As expected, Yvonne is upset with Toby, but Toby still decides to help Spencer on election night. As Spencer and Toby are sawing through a wall to get to the secret room, in comes Mona, who previously helped Spencer’s mom campaign and decided to follow Spencer and Toby. The three enter the room, only to find rows of empty shelves, until they come across one small file folder. Inside the folder are Mary Drake’s records. (Hmm… Now, where does that name sound familiar? Oh right! Cough, cough, Cece Drake!) In the file, it is revealed that Charlotte is actually Mary’s daughter, and was adopted by Jessica and Kenneth!

And finally, the part we’ve all been waiting for - the outcome of Hanna’s great big plan. Hanna and Caleb are at the Lost Woods Resort, where Hanna and A-moji planned to “meet.” (In other words, where Uber A prepared to kill Hanna.) In the motel, Hanna has a flashback of when Haleb ended. In the flashback, she needs to help her boss, otherwise she’ll lose her job, but she and Caleb had plans. Caleb told her he’d leave her if she left, but Hanna made the decision to leave anyway. On her way there, she realized the mistake she’d made and ran back, only to be met by an empty hotel, except for Caleb’s discarded phone that she’d been calling. She tells Caleb this in present-time, and they share a kiss! Poor Jordan. Fortunately for him, it doesn’t get too far because Ezra and Aria have just arrived! While Hanna waits for A-moji in the motel, Caleb, Ezra, and Aria hide out in the forest. When the see the flash of electricity from the electric fence Caleb made, they run over, only to find it empty. They run back to make sure Hanna’s safe, but despite their precautions, she’s missing! It soon comes to their attention that Uber A took Hannah through the floor. Of course, A would’ve been the only genius to think of that.

Afterwards, Spencer and Toby check up on the team at the Lost Woods Resort, Mona trailing behind them, which only makes Caleb even more upset. But the relevance in that is miniscule compared to the new information revealed. As they look at the cameras set up near the electric fence, they see a person, and that person just so happens to be the one and only Jessica DiLaurentis. At least...she certainly looks like her.

It is soon revealed that it was in fact not Jessica, and that Jessica was not the one and only person with...Jessica’s appearance. Standing in the DiLaurentis house is WIlden, who peels off his mask, revealing DR. ROLLINS underneath! And now, he’s speaking with his British accent--his true accent--as he confirms that Alison checked herself into the hospital to Jessica DiLaurentis’s twin, Mary Drake. Dr. Rollins claims he would have done anything for Charlotte, which means he must of had a much bigger connection to her than just being her doctor, and Mary justifies their actions by declaring that Charlotte would have wanted it.

Over at the Lost Woods Resort, the Liars and friends are gathered around the computer when they get a text.

“Thanks for giving me Hanna. You’re free to go. --A.D.”

The official name for their new stalker is revealed, and they’re Alison’s initials. Which makes me wonder, what does Alison have to do with it? We all know that Mary Drake is related to Alison, but there must be something deeper.

In the last scene, an unconscious Hanna is being dragged up the bell tower with dried blood on her mouth and flowers placed on her chest.

With another rally of questions about A--though this time it’s A.D.--the writers end the episode, leaving the Liars--and the viewers, no doubt--confused and grasping for answers and clues.

Welcome back to the game, Liars.
