the Maze Runner

The other thing I'm going to talk about-okay, okay, I said "variety", but really I meant only, like, two things. The second thing is...favorite characters! My favorite character is Minho- mostly for his sarcasm. I'm gonna be honest-I relate to him most. I'm Asian (no, I'm not trying to be racist), and my friends can tell you that I'm sarcastic-a lot. Sometimes sassy, I guess, but mostly sarcastic. But I love how he's a soldier, although he's just a sixteen or seventeen year old kid, but he truly cares for his friends.

( changes how Asians in literature are viewed. Have you ever noticed that a lot of Asians in your favorite books are either stereotypical? Like a person who can't speak English very well and has an accent and eats a lot of rice and is super geeky/nerdy? Or they're just a big warm teddy bear with a tiger guardian who's brave but quiet, like Frank Zhang from Heroes of Olympus? Well, here's this hunk of a dude who's sarcastic and sassy but smart and athletic and caring and strong and has a lot of control over their emotions.

(SPOILERS AHEAD!!) Do you remember how, in the Death Cure, (WARNING WARNING SPOILER!!) when Newt was taken, he cried because one of his best friends of two years was gone? And although he ditched Thomas in the maze in the first book, he helped him later when they found each other again.Did I mention that he was Asian (again, not trying to be racist here!)?

Oh, and must I say that although it's not the main reason why I love Minho (although it kind of is one), Ki Hong Lee is just so cute?

Hello! Quilava the Flamethrower here, and today I'm going to talk about a variety of things. First off, filming for the Death Cure is started! Are you excited? I know I am! I hope they stick more closer to the books, though!
