It's Valentine's Day....I'm going to be honest. I ship Thomas and Teresa. Please don't hate on me!!! Yes, Teresa betrayed Thomas in the Scorch Trials. But W.I.C.K.E.D. threatened to kill Thomas if she didn't act it out. She probably knew she was risking losing his friendship, love, and trust forever, but she was willing to risk it. If you ask me, almost nothing is worse than doing something terrible to your best friend for their benefit, only to have them hate you. And in the Death Cure, she did the ultimate sacrifice-she pushed him out of the way of the falling chunk of stone in the Maze, and died for him. If that's not a form of true love, then I don't know what is.
But here are other popular ships in the Maze Runner fandom:
Newtmas (Thomas and Newt). I personally don't ship this. Yes, Thomas and Newt get along extremely well despite knowing each other for only about a month or so. But there is such thing as being "just friends". I believe that their relationship is pure friendship instead of true love. Any lover would not force their romantic partner to shoot them, because anyone could foresee that pain it would inflict. That act would be more of a friendly act, as terrible as it is. Keep in mind that Newt would most likely have given the note telling Thomas to shoot him to Minho if he knew Minho could handle it. Of course, Minho was too stubborn to believe that there was no hope for his friend of two years.
Thominho (Thomas and Minho)-Again, just because two people are best friends does not mean that they are romantically in love.
