THE LUNAR CHRONICLES

HANNAH NGUYEN

Hello Lunartics!

It’s Hannah here today to talk about Marissa Meyer’s new series that was announced on the first of February. This two-part story will take place in The Lunar Chronicles universe, and will be centered around our beloved android, Iko! It isn’t just going to be a normal novel though. Marissa Meyer and her very strong passion for manga decided on writing a graphic novel with illustrator Douglas Holgate. If you didn’t hear it already, take it from me: this new series will be called Wires & Nerve.

This story happens right after Winter, but before Stars Above. Iko will be fighting a new antagonist with the help of the Rampion crew and a specific Lunar guard… Any guesses? (Kiko shippers unite!!!!)

The first few pages of Wires & Nerve were released last month. From Iko’s first person point of view, it explains that she is somewhere around Sydney, Australia and now a wolf hunter. (Internally screaming. I love Iko so much.)

Marissa Meyer, who is extremely excited to write the graphic novel, told us how happy she was to be writing the book on her blog: “I really, really love graphic novels and it’s been on my wish list to write one since I was a teenager, so this has been a dream come true for me.” Yay!

What are your thoughts on Wires & Nerve? Are you excited? Or do you think Marissa Meyer is dragging out the series? Whatever your thoughts, you can always send them to us using our website.

Thank you so much for reading, and have a celestial day!

-Hannah, your fellow Lunartic
