Hello all! My name is Gabby and as you all know, Rick Riordan has been able to surprise us with his twists and turns with his best selling series Percy Jackson and House of Olympus. Now he takes us through the journeys of Apollo and how he deals with being a mortal. Before I get any farther let me remind you what type of personality Apollo has.

Through the books we see him as a teenage version of a god who is obsessed with his looks and muscles. He likes to feel strong like the rest of us. Just imagine him waking up, a mortal, that doesn’t have the amazing looks and with the inability to fully protect himself, you take away most of the pride that we see him have throughout most of the Percy Jackson books.

Back to the book itself now. I really enjoyed this book, as expected of Rick Riordan’s writing. For Percy lovers, he’s still mentioned in the book but sadly we only get a little of Persassy. However, this series has much potential to be amazing as our understanding of the Greek world expands.
