Picture shows a block and tackle
being used to draw the two halves
together.
There are various methods of
joining the units together, the
preferred method must be identified
and appropriately risk assessed
and the identified control measures
applied.
Whilst drawing the units together, pay
particular attention to the lining up of the
chassis outrigger boltholes. Once aligned,
the bolts can be inserted, and tightened to
complete the ‘drawing’ process.
Pay attention at this point to the ‘front &
back’ of the unit, making sure they are:
Parallel
Level.
Floors should be tight together and flush
with each other.
Note:
Steps in the flooring like this, will cause
problems with the alignment and with floor
coverings.
