Picture shows a block and tackle being used to draw the two halves together. There are various methods of joining the units together, the preferred method must be identified and appropriately risk assessed and the identified control measures applied. Whilst drawing the units together, pay particular attention to the lining up of the chassis outrigger boltholes. Once aligned, the bolts can be inserted, and tightened to complete the ‘drawing’ process. Pay attention at this point to the ‘front & back’ of the unit, making sure they are: Parallel Level. Floors should be tight together and flush with each other. Note: Steps in the flooring like this, will cause problems with the alignment and with floor coverings. Rev 1 14th June -13 Page 5 of 12
