Remove transport sheeting/Carry out Internal Inspection Remove the transport sheeting. However, do not remove timber support frames; these must be kept in place to support the roof until the connection of both halves is complete, failure to do so could cause the roof to dip. As soon as the sheeting is removed, an internal inspection must be carried out to identify any damage that may have occurred during transport. Details should be noted, (where possible photographed) and reported immediately to the park operator, prior to any further work being carried out on the unit. Jack, Block and Level the first Half of Unit Care should be taken when Jacking/lifting, to prevent any distorting of the unit. Lift the unit evenly, placing blocks/supports in the correct support areas (marked in Yellow labels along the chassis). Suitable materials must be used to pack the chassis, such as concrete blocks. Plywood packers are supplied to assist in levelling the unit. More detailed levelling will need to be carried out once the two halves are connected and the unit has been finally supported. Once the chassis has been fully supported the front and rear chassis support legs should be lowered and adjusted to suit. Levelling the Unit Accurate levelling equipment (spirit/water level) must be used at this stage in the process. The unit must be levelled at various locations throughout the unit, making adjustments as necessary. It is important that the first half is completely level, since it will be used as a reference point for the 2nd half to connect to. Rev 1 14th June -13 Page 3 of 12
