ABOUT THE ARCHITECT Michael John O’Sullivan is a draughtsman, builder and a registered Architect. In 1994 he teamed up with Andrew Bull to create the Bull O’Sullivan practice, B/OS studios. The practice is driven by the pursuit of quality – a shared belief with Lockwood, that our surroundings directly influence the quality of our lives. The BO/S portfolio of work demonstrates an extensive array of projects with national and international clients. Michael is well known for his love of timber and harnessing natural elements in his design philosophy. He has won a number of awards for his designs, including the 2011 Home of the Year award for a home at Kare Kare Beach, the Peoples Choice for a client home on Waiheke Island in 2013 and more recently the Small Projects Prize awarded by NZIA for his studio in Lyttelton. Lockwood is proud to have worked with Michael on this creative collaboration, drawing on his inspiration from the essence of the families who inhabit the homes and the diversity of the new Zealand landscape. These are also key drivers for Lockwood and are at the heart of our development of the Lockwood building system, which has been helping kiwi’s build the home of their dreams for over 60 years. “The drama of the big New Zealand be celebrated in a home with equal p -M
