SCHOOL IS COOL, Especially When It’s LIZ University!

If you or anyone you know has ever gone to college, you know it’s not a walk in the park. Yes, it’s valuable and important, but man, it can be tiring. You spend multiple hours each day sitting in a class room listening to boring lectures from monotone teachers, then have to spend multiple hours each night sitting at a desk doing homework and writing papers. OK, maybe not all professors and topics are boring, but still, school is work!
GREAT NEWS – school and work can be combined into one outstanding event – and class is only 90 minutes per month.
Welcome to LIZ UNIVERSITY!
Local Impact Zone offers a free class that teaches you how to take advantage of the systems and opportunities available through LIZ in an entertaining and interactive format, while you eat lunch. Where else in the world can you get that? You get to connect with your colleagues, meet new business owners, share ideas and learn something new.
If you’re NEW to LIZ, you definitely want to attend LIZ U, because this is where you’ll learn to build social influence through branding, education, advertising, marketing and social networking. If you’ve been around LIZ for a while, but aren’t sure what all LIZ does, you also want to join the class, because you probably don’t know what you’ve been missing.
Even if you’ve been to a class or two, you are welcome to come back for the monthly lesson, because you are a different person today than when you were then. You have had new experiences that will cause you to hear, interpret and apply the material in a different way. Come with fresh ears and an open mind and you’ll be amazed at what you’ll learn, and the more you hear it, the more you get it.
When you complete the course, you will receive recognition in the LIZ Unity in the Community Magazine and a certificate of completion. You’ll also earn an achievement badge that is placed in your Local Impact Zone profile. (If you don’t know what that is, you definitely need to come to LIZ U!)
