SCENE EVENT: PAX AMERICANA CELEBRATES THREE YEARS OF SUCCESS WHERE: PAX AMERICANA True to their independent character, the team at Pax Americana kept things exciting yet laid-back to celebrate the restaurant’s third anniversary, August 6th. Owner Dan Zimmerman, Executive Chef Martha De Leon and General Manager Scott Williams hosted staff, family, friends and fellow industry pals for the affair. Guests were greeted by the sound of the DJ spinning hits and the smell of delicious food including wings, brisket, Pax’s signature honey butter chicken biscuits and fresh seasonal veggies and fruit. Glasses were filled with sangria and boozy “danger juice,” as guests kept the party alive with plenty of dancing. Chef Martha took the night away when she showcased the Caja China-style roasting box she built from scratch – roasting a whole pig for everyone to enjoy. The crowd gathered on the patio to watch as Chef Martha flipped the pig and shared heartfelt words of appreciation. Pax Americana is a locally owned and operated restaurant and bar in the heart of the Montrose/Museum District. The restaurant is dedicated to providing only the finest food and drink along with exceptional customer service.
