CULTURE GOES POP
COMICPALOOZA will make its return to the George R. Brown Convention Center on
May 12 – 14 with a mighty guest lineup, including iconic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
stars Jason David Frank and Amy Jo Johnson. Their addition follows the recent announce-
ment of headliner Finn Jones, star of Marvel and Netflix’s upcoming Iron Fist series.
Comicpalooza, the largest pop culture festival in Texas, presents 3,000 hours of premier
programming across 1.2 million square feet of convention space. The festival has served
as the state’s hub for popular trends and obscure topics for all ages, including gaming
competitions, cosplay contests, live art auctions and more. Throughout the event, attendees
will also have the chance to meet with celebrity guests of popular movies, television series,
comics and literature in interactive Q&A sessions, as well as autograph and photograph
opportunities.
