I’m a native Houstonian and returned home to KPRC Channel 2 as Sports
Director in 2004 after seven years in Dallas and seven years in Beaumont.
I grew up in Meyerland in Southwest Houston and graduated from Bellaire
High School in 1985! This great city has so much to offer not only to those
who have spent most of their lives here, but also to the many who move to
the Bayou City every year. Here are a few of my favorites!
SPORTS IN GENERAL: This is what I do for a living! I
get the honor of covering our local teams and bringing
Houstonians our best coverage at KPRC Channel 2 every
night. Our sports department is the best in town and from
the pro teams, college teams to the great high school
stories around the city, we have you covered. Covering
the Astros World Series run was one of the highlights of
my nearly 30-year TV broadcasting career. Growing up
in Houston, we had all waited for that crowning moment
in early November when they got it done against the
Dodgers. What a thrill – and 2018 they could very well
repeat as champs!

DESTINATION: I love to travel with my beautiful wife. We
have been to many places and more to come. My personal
favorite is Cabo. The food, accommodations and activities
