WATERPARKS It’s summertime and with the scorching Houston heat, the waterparks have opened and are ready to cool everyone down! Katy’s new $45 million privately owned TYPHOON TEXAS has finally opened and become a part of the waterpark team. With tons of great foods (especially their barbeque) and rides, this is definitely a park to check out. Although we are thrilled to have a new waterpark nearby, we can’t forget the original WET’N’WILD SPLASHTOWN. After 32 years, they have renovated and are offering the best entertainment with 42 waterslides in addition to tons of new foods and drinks! www.typhoontexas.com www.wetnwildsplashtown.com Map Illustration by Sebastian Gomez de la Torre june 16 | L O C A L 5
